Requirements

Candidates should have 3-5+ years of experience editing paid social ads and designing high-performing statics for DTC, subscription, or high-growth brands. Proven experience creating ads for Meta (FB/IG), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Snap is required. A strong portfolio showcasing direct-response video and static creative with measurable performance results, deep understanding of visual storytelling, digital design principles, and conversion psychology, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment are essential. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (After Effects a plus) and Adobe Photoshop, including light retouching, is necessary. Strategic and collaborative thinking, a proactive and flexible mindset, strong typography, layout, and color theory skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining quality are also required.

Responsibilities

The Video Editor & Designer will edit video ads for paid social with a direct-response lens, focusing on strong hooks, fast pacing, emotional payoff, clear CTAs, and platform-native style. They will design static ads and concept graphics for Meta, TikTok, Snap, and YouTube using DR best practices, and translate briefs into performance-driven creative by combining strategy, storytelling, and aesthetic execution. Responsibilities include editing influencer and UGC footage into polished, high-converting ads without losing authenticity, building ad variants for creative testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure creative aligns with brand voice, audience insights, and business goals. The role also involves contributing strategically by suggesting ideas for new formats, editing structures, and ad concepts based on platform trends and performance data, and writing copy that converts by developing on-screen text, headlines, and scripts optimized for platform, brand voice, and performance.
