Student graduating around July 2026 and able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship (Jan – Jun 2026)
Business proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N2 or above) for understanding local consumer data and developing strategies for the Japan market
Strong academic results in a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Science, or other quant-focused field
Proficient in Python
Knowledge of big data/cloud environments (e.g., Azure or GCP) preferred
Familiar with Operations Research (optimization, simulation) and machine learning models (tree models, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, etc.)
Proven use of machine learning, statistical modeling, or econometrics in internship or coursework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence others
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with diverse backgrounds
Strong thinking/problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude applicable to business processes
Proven capability to handle multiple priorities
Responsibilities
Work on the Analytics and Insights team tackling retail and media analytics problems across brands
Take on real-life projects from Day 1: understand business objectives and generate impactful insights from datasets (point-of-sales, geospatial, product & supply, DTC, CRM, TV media, online search, etc.) from more than 10 countries
Gain end-to-end experience in digital product development: build, validate, test, and deploy machine learning or other data science models into IT platforms
