Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and unrestricted state license. They should possess a strong understanding of hemodialysis procedures and patient care principles, along with the ability to assess and document patient data effectively. Completion of the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) is required.
The Outpatient Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for assigned hemodialysis patients, including performing dialysis treatments, administering medications, and providing patient and family education. They will also collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, initiate emergency response measures, ensure proper laboratory procedures, and contribute to quality improvement activities within the Fresenius Medical Care facility.
