Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Valid medical license in Massachusetts (or willing to obtain prior to start date)
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatry services for child or adult patients
- Focus on patient care, including building a caseload aligned with interests and expertise
- Work in-person or hybrid models, setting own scheduled hours and appointment lengths
- Integrate psychotherapy into everyday practice (preferred)
- Collaborate with therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Participate in lifelong learning activities such as Grand Rounds, consult hours, and training in therapies like TMS (optional)
- Supervise newly graduated PMHNPs (optional, compensated)
