Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
Dialysis experience not required (will train)
Adherence to FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, compliance program, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Ability to function as part of the hemodialysis health care team under direct supervision of a registered nurse

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for assigned patients, including all technical aspects of dialysis procedures as prescribed
Administer and monitor dialysis treatments in accordance with the current treatment plan or supervisor directions
Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on dialysis flow sheets and other patient care information in the individual patient record
Report and document all new or unusual incidents, significant information, changes in patient condition, complaints, problems, or equipment issues to the supervisor
Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
Drive FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards, providing outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develop and maintain effective relationships through effective and timely communication; take initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues
Promote and assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
