Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Excel in a team environment
  • Good verbal/written communication
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
  • Ability to multitask, perform repetitive work duties and react appropriately to changing work priorities
  • Ability to read, interpret manufacturing drawings and follow SOPs, ISO guidelines and complete accurate documentation according to cGMP requirements
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
  • Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
  • Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment and machine operation

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and set up material, containers, and operate production floor equipment per validated SOPs
  • Manufacture and/or test products following cGMP and completes all vital documentation in accordance with Quality System
  • Record information such as weight, time and date packaged
  • Understand and communicate workflow and technologies used in the production environment
  • Label and pack special arrangements or selections of product
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed
  • Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean and 5-S program
  • Perform other job duties as required by the department and/or Management
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
