Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment and machine operation
Excel in a team environment
Good verbal/written communication
Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
Ability to multitask, perform repetitive work duties and react appropriately to changing work priorities
Ability to read, interpret manufacturing drawings and follow SOPs, ISO guidelines and complete accurate documentation according to cGMP requirements
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (up to 50 pounds max unassisted infrequently)
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Compliance with cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)
Ability to work in environmental conditions: Cold Room/Freezers -22°F/-6°C, fluctuating temps hot/cold, loud noises, standing for full shift, warehouse, hazardous/toxic materials
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
Physical ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping; use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

Inspect and set up material, containers, and operate production floor equipment per validated SOPs
Manufacture and/or test products following cGMP and complete all vital documentation in accordance with Quality System
Record information such as weight, time and date packaged
Understand and communicate workflow and technologies used in the production environment
Label and pack special arrangements or selections of product
Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed
Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean and 5-S program
Perform other job duties as required by the department and/or Management
Support the team in achieving daily production schedules and product quality goals
