Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required); Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
  • Previous pipeline experience with emphasis on electrical/mechanical highly preferred
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and nights
  • Willingness to travel, respond to call-outs, and work overtime
  • Ability to live within 45 minutes of the Wood River, IL facility
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Ability to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks associated with pipeline movements and measurements
  • Execute terminal/station operations, including routine facility checks
  • Conduct marine operations
  • Climb storage tanks
  • Facilitate and monitor pipeline movements
  • Conduct refined product, feedstocks, and crude oil sampling, tank switches, and product cuts
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, Environmental, Safety, and Regulatory requirements
  • Respond to and resolve station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties
  • Respond to right of way conflicts
  • Generate computerized work requests for maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate and communicate maintenance activities
  • Complete all required training
  • Perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner
