Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Able to lift 40-45 lbs. without assistance (regularly up to 20 lbs.)
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Able to work in cold rooms/freezers (-22°F/-6°C) and temperature extremes (-30°C to 25°C) for up to 30 minutes
  • Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Standing, bending, reaching, walking, and talking
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Capable of passing all standards needed for TSA clearance
  • Willingness to train and qualify on stand-up forklifts and order pickers (prior experience a plus)
  • Use of computer and RF technologies
  • Computer literacy with understanding of Microsoft Windows
  • Basic math skills for counting
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Maintain high level of accuracy by paying attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Mastery of skills to read, understand, and adhere to SOPs and policies in a GMP environment
  • Available for 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:15pm-11:15pm) and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision (4 I’s)
  • Follows all Fisher Clinical Service (FCS) Standard Operating Procedures
  • Willingness to learn and understand the goals of the department
  • Assist other team members with fulfilling all internal requests
  • Ensures that inventory is stored properly and safely; maintains warehouse for Safety, Neatness, and Organization
  • Stock warehouse areas with necessary items using FIFO system for On-Time-Job-Finish in production rooms
  • Locate inventory in appropriate storage locations (e.g., cold chain, staging, controlled)
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy; assist other departments with inventory movements; run inventory reports for stock put-away
  • Review replenishment reports (transfer and inbound) for put-away processes associated with distribution protocols
  • Replenish distribution protocols in forward pick zones, including movement of stagnant protocols for long-term storage
  • Put away cancelled distribution orders, including cycle count prior to put-away to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Identifies discrepancies, assists with problem solving and fact finding to resolve them
  • Assists with technician I duties when needed
  • Other duties as required by management
