Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research or clinical trial operations, including at least 2 years focused on proposal strategy, feasibility, or project management. A strong understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle, operational planning, and proposal development is essential, as are excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in a matrixed environment. Detail-orientation, strong organizational skills, comfort in a fast-paced, client-facing setting, prior experience with RFPs or bid defenses, and familiarity with multiple therapeutic areas and global clinical operations are also necessary. Experience within CRO, biotech, or pharma settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Operations Strategy Lead will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of operational strategies for clinical trial proposals, focusing on the Respiratory area within the IRCCD team. This involves collaborating with various internal departments to develop competitive and feasible study delivery plans, translating commercial win strategies into operational approaches, and managing proposal timelines and deliverables. The role also includes contributing to bid defense preparations, mentoring junior team members, and capturing lessons learned to improve operational strategy processes.
