Responsibilities

  • Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, champion company-sponsored events, sustainability efforts, and community relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing safety/asset protection controls, maintaining quality standards, and developing action plans
  • Provide supervision and development for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, performance evaluation, recognition, clear expectations, and promoting belonging
  • Model exceptional customer service, manage initiatives, resolve complaints/issues, develop action plans for deficiencies, and lead process improvements for high-quality customer experience
  • Assist store manager in achieving sales/profit goals, reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, correcting financial deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting based on trends/community needs
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, support business/customer plans, set/communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, and identify improvements
  • Implement action plans for ethics/integrity, utilize Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create belonging culture, work collaboratively, attract/retain/develop talent, and hold self/others accountable to Walmart values
