  • Availability for a paid 40 hr./week hands-on training program starting summer 2026 in Newton, NC

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with managers and team members to understand Target’s supply chain operations
  • Lead and support the execution of daily operations alongside team members
  • Learn to lead, motivate, and influence a team, including leading a department
  • Collaborate with a Mentor to dive into effective department leadership and explore business areas/functions
  • Problem solve, conduct real-time observations, and drive results while prioritizing safety and maximizing productivity
  • Step into leading the Mentor's work center with guidance
  • Participate in ongoing developmental conversations and extensive training with Mentor and Manager
  • Build and manage team culture across the building
  • Develop problem-solving and change management skills
  • Gain knowledge of retail business fundamentals
  • Set and plan department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and manage a team to deliver goals
  • Manage a team of hourly team members and create business strategies and goals
  • Gain knowledge of departments within the facility
