Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 2-4 years of material planning experience in manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inventory management and material planning systems
  • Technical Skills: MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Statistical forecasting techniques

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts while optimizing working capital
  • Analyze material usage trends and collaborate with production control and process engineering to improve forecast accuracy
  • Create and release purchase requisitions according to lead times and production schedules
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability and on-time delivery of materials and components
  • Generate and analyze material requirement forecasts based on production plans
  • Track and report material-related metrics and KPIs
  • Participate in supply chain and material planning improvement and optimization initiatives
  • Identify opportunities and support cost reduction and process improvement efforts through efficient material planning
  • Identify and resolve material shortages through expediting, substitutions, or production schedule adjustments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, finance, development, quality, and logistics teams
  • Maintain accurate material master data in enterprise systems
  • Responsible for ISO, BCMS, SOX compliance
