Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, construction management, or have equivalent years of experience. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in construction, automation, and material handling fields is required, along with experience in high-level scheduling, scope, and cost management of complex projects. Demonstrated proficiency in managing projects across broad internal and external stakeholders, a track record of meeting project deliverables on time and within budget, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks are essential. Candidates must also be able to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and possess professional, detail-oriented, methodical, and organized work habits. Proficiency with scheduling software and earned value management systems is necessary, and the ability to travel up to 60% is required. The role is remote and travel-based, ideally located on the West Coast.

Responsibilities

The On-Site Project Manager will be responsible for the overall project delivery, including cost, schedule, and quality, from site preparation through system acceptance. They will manage all schedules, procedures, and controls for assigned projects, serving as the communication conduit between the client, internal company parties, EPCs, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include facilitating the identification and resolution of issues, risks, and mitigation strategies, and driving lean-focused, continual improvement of standards, processes, and procedures. The role involves facilitating cross-functional meetings, communicating initiative status to teams and stakeholders, conducting earned value analysis, and presenting it to stakeholders. Additionally, they will review project status, monitor variances relative to scheduling and cost control reporting, and lead weekly meetings to cover project progress.
