Position Overview

Udacity is seeking a skilled and experienced remote on-call video editor to collaborate with our production team. This contractor role involves creating engaging, high-quality videos for our global student base, focusing on course content. Projects are typically short to long-term, with details provided upon selection.

Requirements

  • Adobe Premiere Proficiency: Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Strong experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Animation Experience: Experience animating 2D and 3D animations.
  • Media Management: Strong media management and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to give and take constructive feedback.
  • Adaptability: Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining calm, organized, and flexible. Comfortable with both long-term in-depth editing and quick task switching.
  • Growth Mindset: Constantly seeks opportunities to develop technical skills, learns well from failure, and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
