Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable personal transportation to get to the resort by 2am for shifts
Must be in excellent/good physical condition, able to withstand sub-zero temperatures
Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (30-50lbs repetitively), including lifting above head level
Capable of climbing ladders
Adequate vision (including in darkness) and functional depth perception
Adequate hearing for communication purposes
Have an operational phone (with adequate cell service if applicable) kept within hearing distance, capable of waking to early morning calls
Available a minimum of 3 on-call shifts per week and able to fulfill commitment for entire winter season
Ability to operate snow blower

Responsibilities

Snow removal by hand or snow blower around decks, stairs, roofs, and walkways
Spread ice melt and sand on icy areas
Dig out signs, ski racks, trash cans, benches, and other objects
Report safety hazards to appropriate individuals
Report on time when called in for work
Respond to emergency situations including fire, building evacuation, vehicle and pedestrian accidents, flooding, lift failure, and accident evacuation
Assist Security, municipal police and fire departments, and other protective service agencies as necessary
Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all contract work performed
Assist other work groups as necessary and perform other duties as directed
