Requirements

  • Must be willing to take and pass forklift operation certification
  • Must be willing to take and pass scissor lift operation certification
  • Must be willing to take and pass fall protection certification
  • Must have 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years
  • Must have a minimum of 3 months experience operating machinery in a processing/factory environment
  • Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Must meet rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods

Responsibilities

  • Ensure offal trailer weights are maintained
  • Operate a forklift to empty totes into the residue trailers as necessary
  • Operate a scissor lift while wearing fall protection to remove liners, cardboard, etc. from the residue trailers
  • Operate the cement scrubber to keep the grounds clean
  • Communicate with management and co-workers
  • Process paperwork necessary for the position
