Requirements

  • Occupational physician qualification
  • Ability to provide occupational health services directly in Istanbul for the designated legal entity (approximately 30% of time)
  • Capability to supervise occupational health for other legal entities and locations in Turkey
  • Experience or knowledge in supervising occupational health activities across high-risk regions with varying levels of OH competence (Africa, Middle East, TCA, RCIS)
  • Alignment with global OHW strategy and collaboration with HR, EHS leadership

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planning of Global and Regional (A-E-V) OHW in EAGM Zone
  • Coordinate and align with Aquila and Vega zones, especially for similar countries in Africa, Middle East, and Eastern Europe
  • Provide expert advice to management, EHS, HR, and occupational health teams in the zone on occupational health and wellbeing
  • Build a strong occupational health system in EAGM with standardized processes to ensure quality, compliance, and business license to operate
  • Ensure adequate governance for all occupational health activities, including through audits and risk-based decision-making
  • Improve quality of occupational health clinics under GEHC control through audits, follow-up, guidance, and implementing evidence-based risk standards in line with Global OHW
  • Support and build capability in occupational health in countries with low OH competence (e.g., training general doctors, supervision, providing GEHC guidelines and standards)
