Requirements

  • Must be available for full-time 1st shift work
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, push, pull, climb, and reach for long periods
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, cold, hot, wet, and slippery environment
  • Must be willing to rotate through departments (e.g., Live Receiving, Evisceration, Further Processing, Debone, Cut-Up, Shipping, Packing)
  • Must be willing to perform tasks involving cutting meat away from bone using knives or scissors
  • Must pass background check if required for the position
  • Rehire eligibility: 180-day waiting period; maximum of two previous Tyson employments

Responsibilities

  • Perform general production labor in various departments as assigned
  • Rotate through departments including, but not limited to, Live Receiving, Evisceration, Further Processing, Debone, Cut-Up, Shipping, and Packing
  • Engage in physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and reaching for extended periods
  • Work in fast-paced, cold, hot, wet, and slippery conditions
  • Cut meat away from bone using knives or scissors as needed
  • Complete additional application tasks to provide further information for employment consideration
