Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (master's degree or professional certifications desired but not required)
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in SAP and financial reporting systems (Anaplan, HFM)
  • Strong Excel and Presentation Skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Proven experience in managing teams and projects
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Defines the deliverables, timing, and sequence for all FP&A processes (close, Forecast, R&O, Budget) for the Region
  • Sets the cadence and implements FP&A governance for all main FP&A processes to ensure deadlines and quality are met
  • Coordinates and leads Month-end close, weekly R&O, forecast, and budget for the Region
  • Coordinates monthly close / rolling forecast activities and deliverables, including timely submission of reporting requirements and presentation and analysis for management and stakeholders
  • Manages, leads, and develops the Regional FP&A team
  • Implements tools and processes to ensure availability of information to meet corporate deadlines
  • Enhances analytical power to drive business performance and identify actionable items (P&L by plant, P&L by program, P&L by Customer, KPIs)
  • Leads daily/weekly financial analysis and reporting, works with cross-functional groups to identify risks & opportunities, and mitigate/deliver financial commitments
  • Develops and maintains complex financial models to predict performance and support decision-making
  • Analyzes financial data, conducts variance analysis, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand business performance
  • Prepares detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Coordinates external audit with the Regional team
  • Works with various departments to align financial goals with business objectives and provide financial guidance
  • Organizes and oversees FP&A processes for North America: Month-end Close, Weekly R&O, Monthly Forecast, Budget, and Strategic Plan
  • Leads FP&A transformation by enhancing current processes and tools and proposing new ones
  • Ensures availability of data in an organized and timely manner for central functions' requests and develops actionable KPIs for Regional Leadership Team
