Requirements

  • Highly skilled and experienced in trust and safety investigations
  • Ability to act as official collaborator with legal authorities in India, supporting communication with federal, regional, and local authorities

  • Experience collaborating with multiple global and third-party entities (e.g., Vultr Legal, Trust and Safety, Compliance, Engineering, India authorities like CERT-In, MHO, MEITy)
  • Proficiency in cross-team collaboration (e.g., with US law enforcement response team, SecOps, storage team, privacy team, local Vultr India employees)
  • Ability to manage and process lawful requests for user data or information from law enforcement and government agencies
  • Availability for 24/7 coordination to ensure timely and legally compliant responses
  • Skills in responding to in-person or local communication requests from law enforcement, including verification of legal authentication and authorization
  • Competence in reviewing inquiries regarding TOS violations, copyright violations, spam, phishing, malware, fraud, revenge porn, CSAM/CSEM complaints, non-payment account closures, national security matters, and other platform violations
  • Willingness for occasional travel to police stations in India
  • Ability to conduct proper vetting

Responsibilities

  • Respond to legal requests from India’s law enforcement and other government agencies
  • Respond and collaborate with CERT-In regarding cyber security incidents
  • Collaborate with the US LER team to fulfill legal requests
  • Collaborate with SecOps and LER to ensure accurate reporting of cyber security incidents
  • Occasional travel to police stations in India whenever necessary
  • Facilitate all communication with federal, regional, and local authorities in India
  • Manage and process lawful requests for user data or information from law enforcement and government agencies
  • Respond to in-person or local communication requests from law enforcement and participate in verification of legal authentication and authorization
  • Review inquiries regarding account closures due to TOS violations, copyright violations, spam, phishing, malware, fraud, revenge porn, CSAM/CSEM complaints, non-payment, national security matters, and other violations
