Candidates are required to have a law, business degree, or extensive coding experience, along with solid knowledge of procedures, policies, and law, and demonstrate a neutral disposition. Strong communication and writing skills are also necessary. Prior experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
The No Surprises Act Arbitrator will review materials related to disputes, provide written decisions based on baseball arbitration processes, apply laws, procedures, and industry knowledge to settle disputes, obtain Dane Street training and complete review processes, submit reporting on Dane Street’s portal, and submit billing for completed reviews. They will also perform other duties and special projects as assigned and based on business needs.
