Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. They should be able to work effectively in a team, multitask, prioritize, and complete projects under tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail and good judgment. Basic technical skills, computer literacy, proficiency in standard business applications like MS Word and Excel, and reliability through good attendance and punctuality are essential. Responsibilities

The Newsroom Editor will accurately and efficiently prepare and transmit news releases, format, edit, and proofread content, and code releases for distribution. They will communicate with clients about potential errors, assess the authenticity of orders, and escalate problematic content. Responsibilities include monitoring incoming orders for timely handling, ensuring successful content transmission, assisting other teams with overflow, and performing shift-change duties. Editors will also maintain knowledge of Business Wire products and policies, handle client inquiries, guide clients through order submission, provide membership information, set up new accounts, collaborate with other departments, communicate technical issues, authorize credit card payments, and submit daily distribution reports.
