Candidates should possess an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. They must have at least 5 years of background in data center network protocols, threat modeling, and network security, as well as common mitigation techniques. Strong programming and debugging fundamentals across languages such as Python and C/C++ are required.
The Network Security Research Architect will lead, research, design, develop, and implement solutions for securing networks and identifying threats and incidents. They will apply innovative security primitives to enable secure platforms, collaborate across external and internal research teams, and architecturally model, validate, and develop proof-of-concepts secure platforms. Furthermore, they will research network telemetry to support secure networking platforms’ confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
