NVIDIA is seeking a Network Security Research Architect to define, research, and implement next-generation security features for data center networks. This role will involve leading research, designing solutions, and collaborating with internal and external teams to secure NVIDIA’s networking products.

Requirements

  • Education: MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of background in data center network protocols, threat modeling, and network security, including common mitigation techniques.
  • Programming Skills: Fundamentals in programming and debugging across languages such as Python and C/C++.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, research, design, develop, and implement solutions for securing networks and identifying threats and incidents.
  • Apply innovative security primitives to enable secure platforms.
  • Collaborate across external and internal hardware and software research teams.
  • Architecturally model, validate, and define microarchitectural security features, following industry standards.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for secure platforms.
  • Research network telemetry to support secure networking platforms’ confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Proven security research experience and publications in top security conferences.
  • Experience with high-scale deployment challenges, including RDMA networking and machine learning.
  • Architectural background in hardware and software systems codesign.
