Requirements

2 – 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred
Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required

Responsibilities

Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management
Monitoring for circuits and hardware
Reporting and tracking carrier issues, hardware RMA’s etc
Managing operational network maintenance activities and implementing changes
Providing monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts
Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
Assisting with root cause analysis of incidents
Assisting with periodic network reviews and analysis
Helping with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
Reviewing, tracking and updating network operations policies, standards and documentation
Assisting with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
Completing Daily network checks and operational handover duties
Participating in shift rotation coverage
