Requirements
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
- Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
- Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
- Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
- Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred
- Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management
- Monitoring for circuits and hardware
- Reporting and tracking carrier issues, hardware RMA’s etc
- Managing operational network maintenance activities and implementing changes
- Providing monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts
- Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
- Assisting with root cause analysis of incidents
- Assisting with periodic network reviews and analysis
- Helping with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
- Reviewing, tracking and updating network operations policies, standards and documentation
- Assisting with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
- Completing Daily network checks and operational handover duties
- Participating in shift rotation coverage
