  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or other related field
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in Network Engineering and/or Operations handling complex and large-scale networks (LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud environments)
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in Global Network Support
  • Extensive hands-on experience with multi-vendor Networking, Security and troubleshooting (routers, switches, wireless controllers, next-gen firewalls, load balancers, and other network/security appliances)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native networking (AWS, Azure) — e.g., Transit Gateway, Security Group, ExpressRoute, VPC Peering
  • Experience working in ITIL-based operations (incident, change, problem, and request management)
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and lead projects
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and creative problem-solving abilities under pressure
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
  • Ability to communicate abstract technical concepts in business terms across all levels of the organization
  • CCNA or equivalent certification (desired)
  • Any cloud certification (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Operational support of the LAN, WAN, Cloud and Data Center for Lexis Nexis’ Enterprise and Production environments globally
  • Participate in a 7x24x365 operational organization, with main accountabilities of Incident Management, Change Management, Service Request Fulfillment and Problem Management
  • Provide moderate to advanced support of network and security infrastructure technologies and services
  • Review, acceptance, and maintenance of support documentation for deployed and supported infrastructure
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to 1st level operations staff
  • Maintain expert knowledge and skills of supported infrastructure, technologies, and services
