Requirements

  • Top Secret (TS) clearance; must be able to obtain TS/SCI
  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
  • Office presence minimum 5 days per week at customer's site (Omaha, Nebraska); no relocation offered
  • Ability to perform shift work for 7x24 coverage and cybersecurity support

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain network UAF (Unified Architecture Framework) models in support of USSTRATCOM’s secure network environment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain secure network designs and architectures
  • Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and features relevant to USSTRATCOM
  • Brief USSTRATCOM management on new networking technologies at least annually, or as needed
  • Lead monthly technical status meetings, providing updates and recommendations on network performance, reliability, and security
  • Evaluate emerging network technologies and tools to enhance network performance, reliability, and security
  • Plan, design, and execute technical refreshes and upgrades once approved by management
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
  • Ensure all network architecture aligns with organizational security standards and compliance requirements
