Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 3 years' professional experience as a network administrator
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing network infrastructures
  • Expertise in configuring routers, switches and APs in an SD-WAN (NaaS) environment
  • Expertise and mastery of network protocols and different OSI layers
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies (LTE, Wifi 5, 6, 6E, RF)
  • Expertise in setting up and configuring firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Umbrella or others)
  • Expertise in setting up and configuring network equipment
  • Proficiency in setting up and configuring VPNs
  • Knowledge of Python or other code (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and supervise network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), ensuring their configuration, maintenance and evolution
  • Implement network monitoring tools to detect malfunctions or intrusions
  • Manage backups and security updates
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies
  • Provide technical support to users concerning network problems (connection, performance, access to network services)
  • Quickly resolve network incidents
  • Analyze network performance
  • Identify congestion points
  • Recommend improvement solutions or equipment upgrades
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, protocols, accesses, equipment configurations and network diagrams
  • Work closely with development, support and security teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and online services
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices in network management and cybersecurity to anticipate necessary developments
