Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years field service experience
  • Qualified to perform work on Diagnostic Imaging modalities (CT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, Cathlab, Surgery); may need to qualify in multiple modalities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to think outside the box
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over customer issues and willingness to learn new techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills; able to deal tactfully and effectively with customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A good team player and can work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
  • Technical experience in CT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, Cathlab, or Surgery preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives to ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Maintain all equipment models specific to assigned modality or modalities
  • Independently resolve equipment and customer issues, including completing PMs, FMI, installations, mechanical, and related tasks
  • Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to resolve issues timely and effectively
  • Perform remote service work, including telephone support, remote technical support, and diagnostics
  • Build credibility and trust with customers through pro-active visits and provide timely communications on issues
  • Demonstrate urgency in identifying and resolving customer issues, following escalation processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting expectations, meeting commitments, and arrival times
  • Adhere to training, quality, and safety requirements
  • Manage company assets effectively (e.g., labor time, parts, tools calibration, POs, expenditures)
  • Perform administrative duties within regulatory timeframes (e.g., training, SR/dispatch closing, PM checklists, travel/expense reports, documentation)
  • Maintain effective quality systems compliant to GE Service Quality Policy
  • Adopt, develop, and implement best practices
  • Proactively schedule activities and assist others
  • Seek opportunities to increase capability (e.g., qualify in multiple modalities, learn new tools) and identify team training gaps
  • Mentor others and actively participate in regional work team to improve processes
  • Maintain knowledge of technical advances and industry trends; seek training opportunities
