Requirements

Experience designing and evolving fast, reproducible, and cache-efficient builds
Expertise in reducing CI build times, improving correctness, removing flakiness, and maintaining scalable artifact storage and dependency management
Proficiency with Jenkins, Maven for Java, and NPM for Node.js builds
Knowledge of modern CI platforms (e.g., Tekton) for platform modernization
Familiarity with modern build systems (e.g., Bazel, Buck2), CD patterns (e.g., Spinnaker), and internal developer portals (e.g., Backstage)
Experience with ephemeral, production-like test environments (e.g., per-PR sandboxes) for integration/e2e testing and preview deployments
Skills in CD/GitOps workflows, including progressive delivery, automated rollbacks, and canaries
Ability to build internal developer portals with templates, scorecards, and software catalogs
Experience introducing AI-assisted engineering, including secure AI copilots, LLMs for test generation, flaky test triage, log summarization, debug suggestions, error classifications, selective test execution, and AIOps
Knowledge of building evaluation harnesses, prompt libraries, RAG over internal docs, and policy controls for IP, PII, and secrets
Expertise in reliability, security, and compliance, including supply-chain security (SBOMs, provenance, signing), policy-as-code, infra guardrails, and CVE patching
Ability to instrument, measure, and improve DORA and DevEx metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, change-failure rate)

Responsibilities

Own the Software Build, Test platform and frameworks
Design and evolve fast, reproducible, and cache-efficient builds; reduce CI build times; improve correctness and remove flakiness; maintain scalable artifact storage and dependency management
Drive platform modernization by evaluating state-of-the-art CI platforms (e.g., Tekton) and paving the way for updating the Build, Test stack
Spin up ephemeral, production-like test environments and standardize on-demand sandboxes for reliable integration/e2e testing and preview deployments
Harden and simplify deployments by advancing CD/GitOps workflows with progressive delivery, automated rollbacks, canaries, golden paths, and guardrails
Build the internal developer portal, curating paved roads for services, data, and infra via templates, scorecards, and software catalogs
Introduce AI-assisted engineering, shipping secure, private AI copilots for code authoring, refactoring, and review; use LLMs for test generation, flaky test triage, log summarization, debug suggestions, error classifications, selective test execution, and AIOps
Build evaluation harnesses, prompt libraries, RAG over internal docs, and policy controls for IP, PII, and secrets
Champion reliability, security, and compliance by baking in supply-chain security (SBOMs, provenance, signing), policy-as-code, infra guardrails, and patching CVEs
Instrument, measure, and improve DORA and DevEx metrics
