  • Enrolled in and attending a graduate-level curriculum leading to a Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or MSPH with a concentration in Statistics or Biostatistics at the time of the internship
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages/software such as R, SAS, Spotfire, WinBUG, etc
  • Interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Technical expertise and application with working knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis
  • Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Utilize statistics and programming skills on the project that will have impact in the Statistics, Data and Analytics organization
  • Lead the project by understanding the background and impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the project
  • Present to the organization on the technical aspects and the impact of the project
  • Introduce and apply innovative thinking to the project
  • Present project highlights, findings, recommendations, and general internship accomplishments to senior leaders and stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship
