Requirements

  • High School Diploma with proven experience in Material Planning
  • Prior experience of MRP / ERP systems, with desired experience with Oracle ASCP
  • Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures
  • Communication, influencing, and organizational skills
  • Sound computer skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing the ERP system daily, ensuring material quantities are available to execute the project as per BOM, including converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions
  • Supporting Master Production Scheduler to ensure material is available to meet the manufacturing plan or highlighting risks and lead to issue resolution
  • Acting as an interface between the project and procurement teams, and production planners, supporting all departments in order to minimise loss of time in Manufacture
  • Analysing and monitoring inventory levels to ensure continuous material flow to manufacturing operations, while supporting business cash flow targets
  • Coordinating the resolution of problems and maintaining the ASCP dates through regular communication with Production Control and Master Scheduler
  • Managing data quality on the ERP system
