Two years’ prior related experience in heavy equipment operation
One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA

Responsibilities
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear view camera are clean
Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, skid steer) using proper safety standards for transferring, spreading, covering, loading, and/or compacting waste or soil
Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials
Continuously monitor equipment condition to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime; clean tracks or wheels as needed
Perform and document minor service on equipment; refer complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop
Complete Equipment Condition Reports and other necessary reports; report repairs to supervisor
Follow all required safety policies and procedures
Ensure equipment is clean, serviced, and stored at the end of each shift
