Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with SPM’s and CNC machines
  • Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain molding equipment
  • Experience in cost reduction and process improvement
  • Supervisory experience (including supervisors and operators)
  • Ability to analyze development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements
  • Understanding of visual control systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain working standards reflecting best practices
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of all molding equipment
  • Equipment, tooling, and process problem resolution
  • Achieving scheduled production targets meeting strict deadlines
  • Supervision of workforce including supervisors and operators
  • Cost reduction, methods, and process improvements on production activities
  • Coordinates activities necessary to maintain production timing and parallel production activities
  • Special focus to pin headers
  • Respond quickly to control problems highlighted by the visual control systems
  • Ensuring the compliance of customer-specific requirements
  • Take part in management routines and problem-solving workshops
  • Develop team skills to minimize reliance on assistance
  • Consumable minimum inventory management during production
  • Mechanical system design for manufacturing
  • P.M. schedule preparation and updating
  • Preventive and predictive Maintenance knowledge of SPM’s and CNC machines
  • Analyze development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements
  • Act as an interface between Engineering and production, and between maintenance and production
