Requirements

  • Located in California, Georgia, Massachusetts, or Utah
  • Experienced and hands-on Mobile Applications Engineering Manager
  • Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, C/C++ (valued)
  • Experience in developing frequently updated apps for consumer products (valued)
  • Experience in developing mobile applications (valued)

Responsibilities

  • Hire and expand remote and local teams to meet roadmap requirements
  • Onboard, motivate, and mentor exceptional engineers as productive players on the team
  • Actively contribute alongside your team to the Flutter codebase, including writing code, performing detailed code reviews, and tackling complex technical challenges
  • Work with product, business, and engineering teams to develop strategic roadmap and execution plans
  • Lead architectural and design decisions for mobile applications to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
  • Oversee the team's agile development process, manage sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features
  • Establish and sustain best practices for mobile development, including code quality, automated testing, AI adoption, CI/CD, and performance monitoring
  • Work closely with product managers and backend engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions and delightful user experiences
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to the company about deliverables, design, and architecture choices
  • Own the entire mobile release process including internal test releases, from final testing through to submission to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
