Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Some relevant experience and skills developed through training or work
Ability to read recipes, production icings, and weigh, package, and label icing buckets
Ability to operate mixers, lifts, and related equipment
Ability to ensure product quality (weights, appearance, etc.) during packaging
Ability to follow safe, sanitary food handling policies to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses
Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions in a production line
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible work schedule, including weekends, occasional Tuesdays, Sundays, and holidays
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to read and understand mix formulas and use a digital scale
Ability to keep count of production
Ability to work independently and with others
Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination
Ability to pull and push carts filled with bags, boxes, and buckets of ingredients
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Learn and perform reading recipes, production icings, weighing, packaging, and labeling icing buckets
Operate mixers, lifts, and other equipment
Ensure product is of good quality as it is packaged (weights, appearance, etc.)
Follow safe, sanitary food handling policies
Work under moderate degree of supervision on routine tasks that impact the team
Clean work areas
Wash all equipment
Take out trash
Perform other duties as needed, including occasionally working in other production areas based on production needs
