Requirements

Candidates should possess at least three years of experience in user and/or market research, ideally gained in consultancy firms, research agencies, large research teams, or organizations where research has been critical in facilitating data-driven business decisions. A curious mindset focused on understanding people is essential, along with a strong understanding of research methodologies including qualitative and quantitative approaches such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics.

Responsibilities

The Mixed Method UX Researcher will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, marketing, and engineering to identify research needs and select appropriate research methods, plan and execute a variety of mixed-method research studies, analyze research findings and communicate them effectively to stakeholders, identify business and product opportunities based on research, guide the planning and prioritization process in marketing and product teams, establish and maintain a user-centered culture by advocating for the user, utilize AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline research operations such as automating transcriptions and summarizing insights, create and refine prompts for specific research needs, identify and mitigate ethical risks in AI-assisted research, and collaborate with peers to evaluate emerging AI tools for research enhancement.
