Requirements

  • Degree qualified to a minimum of 2:2 in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production/Manufacturing Engineering discipline
  • Right to work in the UK (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa)
  • British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Capable of achieving required medical and national security clearance, including as a minimum HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks

Responsibilities

  • Work between customer requirements and detailed design process to establish coherent top-level missile design
  • Perform performance trade-off studies using inputs from stakeholders across engineering departments to ensure balanced missile solutions
  • Collaborate with a wide range of technical functions and provide direct input towards project delivery
  • Work on allocated projects at any stage of the missile lifecycle
  • Undertake and manage design and performance trade-off studies
  • Get involved with the design and delivery of subsystems into projects (e.g., Data links, Actuation systems, Telemetry Units)
  • Assist with trials and testing of components and missiles during the development phase
