Must hold a current, unrestricted license in Florida and/or Massachusetts (willing and able to obtain additional licensure)
Must be FNP and PMHNP certified
Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
Depending on the market, proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages

Responsibilities

Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling, and disposition planning for patients ranging in age 18 months and above
Provide education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices
Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients
Provide patient counseling, including pregnancy prevention, STI prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling, and medication management
Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries
Document all patient care within an electronic health record (EHR) according to MinuteClinic policies and procedures
Provide care and coordination with internal and external colleagues, including the broader patient-centered medical home
Effectively work within a patient care team, including fellow providers, collaborative physicians, paraprofessionals, pharmacists, and other health care team members
Work independently, prioritize and solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for patients and practice
Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives
Develop programs and provide process improvement insight as a key expert in acute care and behavioral health services
Provide oversight of behavioral health care, including quality and training to new providers
