Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and 1-2 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, if needed
  • Test water samples and ensure all samples collected per schedule and tested on time
  • Perform and review microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading
  • Data entry and trend data as needed and prepare slides for management
  • Assist in investigations regarding out of specifications (OOS) results, address and manage deviations related to micro procedures
  • Analyze chemical, biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of the company's quality program
  • Prepare, clean, disinfect, and/or sterilize instruments, materials, products, and/or supplies
  • Follow protocols and regulations in order to clean, store, and/or deliver products, supplies, and/or instruments
  • Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces
  • Review and approve all final product release test results
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Interpret and evaluate the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications and recommend and implement corrective action where necessary
  • Apply existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modification for improved efficiency, or devise and develop new analytical methods and techniques
  • Perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation
