Requirements

Expertise in developing and validating microbiological test methods in accordance with compendial and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), regulatory standards, and company policies
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, prepare and review reports, protocols, and SOPs
Proficiency in microbiological testing techniques, including microbial enumeration, identification, and antimicrobial effectiveness testing
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on project objectives, timelines, and process improvements
Mentoring and training abilities to guide microbiology staff and foster continuous learning

Responsibilities

Conduct microbiological testing of primary packaging materials, raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples
Develop and validate microbiological test methods
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all microbiological testing and analysis; prepare and review reports, protocols, and SOPs
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, cGMP requirements, and company policies; participate in internal and external audits
Manage microbiology-related projects, including method transfers, validations, and investigations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines, and identify process improvements
Mentor and provide training and guidance to microbiology staff
