Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related industry
  • Ability to read and understand schematics to diagnose problems and repair equipment
  • Ability to use mathematical formulas, handbooks, and a variety of precision measuring instruments
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and/or exert up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work while bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Compliance with cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
  • Ability to stand for full shift, work at heights, tolerate loud noises, and wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings
  • Perform basic electrical work, plumbing, soldering, carpentry, and snow removal
  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment or perform equipment modifications as needed
  • Perform primarily mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing processes
  • Ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Complete scheduled maintenance as a key member of the Maintenance team
  • Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on time, and help others as needed
