Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of maintenance work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related industry
Ability to read and understand schematics to diagnose problems and repair equipment
Ability to use mathematical formulas, handbooks, and a variety of precision measuring instruments
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to lift and/or exert up to 50 lbs
Ability to work while bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Compliance with cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
Ability to stand for full shift, work at heights, tolerate loud noises, and wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings
Perform basic electrical work, plumbing, soldering, carpentry, and snow removal
Rebuild manufacturing equipment or perform equipment modifications as needed
Perform primarily mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing processes
Ensure equipment is running efficiently
Complete scheduled maintenance as a key member of the Maintenance team
Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on time, and help others as needed
