Responsibilities

  • Execute daily tasks related to trade processing of derivative products, FX and MM, including trade maintenance, settlement, reconciliation, electronic and paper confirmations, and issues resolution
  • Act as a central point of contact for the business when resolving incidents
  • Identify and escalate any operational and IT incidents
  • Escalate any recurrent manual workarounds
  • Handle transactions involving booking and servicing commercial loans and letters of credit
  • Research and respond to incoming commercial loan requests from supported business areas
  • Research payment history, loan balances, and associated documentation (e.g., loan notes, forbearance agreements, modifications)
  • Perform dollar transactions, collateral setup and maintenance, GL balancing, and quality review
  • Create and analyze error reports, researching payments log and incoming wire transfer payments
  • Ensure proper documentation is filed for internal and external audits and resolve problems within guidelines
  • Guarantee harmonious implementation process based on defined flows, meeting client and bank expectations
  • Manage transfer of implemented solutions to Customer Service area
  • Participate in sales process as manager of solutions to be implemented
  • Provide feedback to Cash Management Global Products on implemented solutions, problems, and improvements
  • Support Middle Office team in structuring and processing Documentary Trade, Trade Funding (Corporates & IFIs), and Structured Trade operations
  • Participate in structuring and closing complex transactions (e.g., Inventory Financing, Borrowing Base, Pre-Export Financing)
  • Record banking operations ensuring compliance with control framework (Asset/Capital Portfolio Management, Credit Risks, AML/anti-terrorism, Operational Risk Rules)
  • Monitor balances and liquidity positions
  • Supervise monitoring and control of real-time US dollar settlements
  • Supervise incidents related to liquidity management
  • Support local partners in the USA
  • Control reconciliations
  • Analyze reports on balances, positions, counterparties, and Kiwis
  • Manage Margin Calls (Variation/Initial Margin) and Portfolio Reconciliation, including new client agreements setup in collateral management system
  • Manage margin call processes for GMRAs, GMSLAs, CSAs, CGARs, and CSDs
  • Monitor Triparty allocation for Initial Margin activity
  • Identify, escalate, and follow up on client disputes and regulatory queries until resolution
  • Liaise with internal groups (Credit/Market Risk, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Trading, Operations) to resolve collateral issues
  • Conduct extensive client interactions
  • Perform portfolio reconciliations
  • Handle monthly interest calculations
