Requirements

  • Strong experience in designing and architecting solutions in Siemens Opcenter / Camstar, CN MOM / CIO, Solution Configuration/ Build with Designer / Portal Studio
  • Proven hands-on experience as an MES Functional Architect or similar role
  • Experience with GxP, ITIL (preferably ServiceNow and Jira)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Experience working in a complex matrix organization
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and IIoT technologies
  • Proficiency in SQL databases, scripting, and data integration tools
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, SCADA, and PLM
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and design solutions based on Opcenter capabilities
  • Design and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives
  • Create business cases to highlight the ROI and value proposition of Opcenter MES
  • Develop solution blueprints, data models, workflows, and UI mockups
  • Manage a common MES code base across globally distributed systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution
  • Translate business requirements into MES functional specifications
  • Develop and optimize MES workflows aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISA-95)
  • Lead MES deployment projects including configuration, testing, and validation
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot MES-related issues to maintain system stability and performance
  • Participate in incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes
  • Support MES upgrades, enhancements, and customization extensions
  • Manage and execute GxP documentation (e.g., test scripts) to ensure compliance
  • Provide on-call support for manufacturing sites as needed
  • Partner with Adoption SME to drive tool adoption and to enhance user experience
