A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required, with 2-3 years specifically leading M&A integrations demonstrating measurable success. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar is necessary, as is an understanding of operations and their interdependencies during M&A activities. The role also requires the ability to travel to support integration efforts and engage partners.
The M&A Integration Project Manager will lead the seamless integration of acquired companies by transforming templates into tailored project plans with clear critical paths and timelines. Responsibilities include leading integration efforts to ensure goal alignment and timely delivery of high-quality results, implementing hour-by-hour communication strategies for "week one" activities, and identifying/escalating roadblocks to maintain momentum. This role involves championing accountability and transparency, acting as a liaison between the M&A Integration team and acquired businesses, strengthening internal networks for support, and upholding regulatory obligations by implementing company policies. Additionally, the Project Manager will design governance frameworks to control integration and mitigate risk, prepare executive-level updates, manage critical artifacts for Global Internal Audit verification, and lead retrospectives to enhance M&A Integration practices.
