Experience as an MEP Drafter specializing in mechanical, plumbing, or sprinkler systems
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required)

Responsibilities

Create and revise mechanical, plumbing, and sprinkler system drawings using AutoCAD
Draft clean plumbing systems, mechanical layouts, and coordinated MEP plans
Develop detailed LGAC (Local Law / General Construction / Air Conditioning) plans
Perform load calculations and incorporate them into mechanical and HVAC layouts
Prepare shop drawings, as-built plans, and construction documents
Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and other trades (HVAC, electrical, fire protection)
Interpret engineer markups, specifications, and design requirements into complete drawings
Ensure all drafted plans comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and file version control
