Mental Health Therapist at CVS Health

It's a hybrid (remote & in-person) position based in the Largo or St. Petersburg area, or fully remote if residing outside those areas. Must currently hold a Florida license.

A current, active, and unencumbered Florida State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. Candidates will need to obtain licenses in multiple states based on business needs.

Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills using evidence-based methodologies like motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy are required.

Therapists enjoy autonomy to build and grow the practice without handling payor contracting, credentialing, and billing, in a stable, consistent, and professional environment with support from the clinical care team.

A completed Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and a current Florida license (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or LMFT) are required. Preferred qualifications include exceptional interpersonal skills, virtual therapy experience, crisis intervention skills, and familiarity with EHR systems and billing.
