Requirements

Candidates should possess a doctoral-level qualification (PharmD, PhD, MD) with a strong background in radiology or medical imaging. A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is preferred, including at least 2 years as a Medical Science Liaison, with prior experience in radiology or imaging-related therapeutic areas being highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison will build and maintain relationships with radiology Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers through scientific exchanges, deliver medical education and presentations on products and disease states, and serve as the primary contact for medical and scientific inquiries. They will also support company-sponsored trials, clinical trial site recruitment, and Investigator Initiated Research proposals, assist with medical communications, grant proposals, health economics research, speaker training, Advisory Boards, and sales training, and stay current on disease states and competitive landscapes within the imaging therapeutic area. Additionally, they will attend radiology-focused medical meetings to gather and share scientific and competitive intelligence, requiring up to 60% travel within the US.
