Requirements
- Strong understanding of personal injury, return-to-work, or workers’ compensation environments
- Confident in interpreting medical information and applying legislation/guidelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee medical & like services and surgery approval processes
- Review and assess complex medical requests across a variety of injury types
- Provide support, coaching, and technical guidance to Claims Officers
- Liaise with Medical Advisors and Treating Health Practitioners to ensure appropriate treatment pathways
- Ensure all decisions adhere to WorkSafe requirements and best-practice industry standards
