Responsibilities

  • Respond accurately and professionally to technical and medical information inquiries via phone, email, internet, or mail regarding pharmaceutical or device products
  • Process fulfillments and provide clinical trial information or after-hours on-call support
  • Analyze inquiries to formulate accurate and concise responses using client-approved resources
  • Record inquiries and interactions in appropriate databases following organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify, record, and triage adverse events and product complaints according to organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines; provide follow-up support as needed
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of project and corporate policies, procedures, client products, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with internal and external client contacts (including client management) to resolve complex inquiries
  • Research medical literature and draft responses for complex inquiries as needed
  • Provide medical and technical information to healthcare providers and patients regarding client drugs or products (e.g., dosage, formulation, contraindications, side effects)
  • Collect adverse event report information (e.g., symptoms, patient profile, drug administration details) and forward reports to the case processing team
